The new Victory 8x45 T* RF and Victory 10x45 T* RF binoculars enable simultaneous observation and range determination of objects. This is made possible by the integrated laser rangefinder (RF). Carl Zeiss thus fulfills a much desired wish of many professional and quality-conscious binocular users.
Immediately after a button is pushed, the Victory 8x45 T* RF or Victory 10x45 T* RF provides birdwatchers with the approximate altitude of a flock of bids. This type of high-performance binoculars also gives hunters added security: precise knowledge of the distance to the target. The rangefinder also permits fast surveying with good quality for the agricultural and forestry industries. Hikers also know how far away a certain object is.
Digital laser rangefinding The Victory RF binoculars are equipped with a high-performance laser and state-of-the-art electronics. They enable particularly fast rangefinding from 10-1,200 meters (10-300 yards) with accuracy down to one meter: the duration of the measurement of the Class 1 laser (invisible laser beam) is less than one second. A self-illuminating, four-digit LED display shows the measuring result in the observation optics. It can be easily read in all lighting conditions.
The user simply turns on the electronics and the target mark by pressing the measuring button. When the button is released, the measurement is made immediately (one-touch principle). This eliminates incorrect measurements caused by delays and unintentional "shaking" of the binoculars – and with it, the laser beam.
A new design principle permits integration of the laser optics into the binoculars. These are the first binoculars in the world with a folding bridge without separate transmission optics. This permits a special, compact design.
The Victory RF line of binoculars received the coveted red dot Design Award in 2008 and is also nominated for the Innovation Award of German Industry.
Outstanding optics with innovative LotuTec® coating The Victory RF models – with recalculated ZEISS optics – generate a brilliant image with very high resolution, outstanding focus and razor-sharp contrast, thus fulfilling the requirements of the most demanding users. They feature the innovative LotuTec® coating. This invention from Carl Zeiss transfers the surface characteristics of a lotus leaf to objective lenses and eyepieces: water beads off the lens without residue, taking particles with it. Even in the rain, users always have a clear view. The glass surfaces can also be easily cleaned.
Robust, ergonomically designed mechanics The new Victory RF binocular models feature a robust and lightweight magnesium housing. Rubber armoring protects against shocks and jolts. The large focus wheel and the buttons for the measurement functions have been optimally positioned. The eyecups can be locked in four positions and can be easily removed for cleaning.
